This will include a description of existing programs such as the energy conservation work that has been very successful, new initiatives such as the biomass permit for Abbott Power Plant, and future plans such as the Energy Production and Distribution Master Plan.

Joe Hooker, Assistant City Attorney, City of Champaign, will discuss proposed landfill expansion in Clinton that would store carcinogens known as PCBs and sit above the Mahomet Aquifer, from which East Central Illinois draws its drinking water.
